Agreed if you don't know the person Hello is fine. if you know the person its just weird
Play it safe and send everything as requested, and include your ssn, and mothers maiden name with bank account numbers.
Just to make sure they are interested.
Another scam i have recieved is as follows.
"I am interested in your item, do you still have it?"
This is a ploy to get your email address. once someone has emailed through craigslist if you respond it goes from your email to theirs.
Uhh. Total scam. Everytime I put something on craigslist I get the exact same email.
