Nice :mrgreen: I have a rem 700 BDL custom deluxe in 300 RUM. I love that gun it has a 28" BBL with a brake and trigger job also. The balistics of that caliber are the best on the planet you can't find anything that will touch it as far as how flat it shoots.

I use mine for elk I am guessing you are looking at long range competition? I would like to know how the heavier bullets do as far as how flat it shoots compared to other calibers of comparable bullet weight.

I use 180 grn swift sciroccos anything out to 500 yrds I just put fur in the scope and its dinner.
