i have droid Galaxy 4 and a Mac Book Pro. I can not get the Mac to recognize my 4. I have a bunch of videos and pics I want to transfer to the Mac but can not. I have downloaded the Android converter but it has not worked for me. Has any run into and overcome, this issue?

Android moved a few years ago to having the device and any external memory cards recognized as a media drive instead of regular external drive. You need an app on the Mac called Android File Transfer. When you launch that and connect to your GS4, you should see it show up in the Android File Transfr with different tabs for the phone's internal memory and the SD card.

Have you tried using Dropbox? You should be able to move your pics and videos to Dropbox and then copy them from there to any computer at your leisure.

It was the oldest thread I could find on the site. It was about the Avalanche and I want to say it was from 2004. This was about five years ago. I never had Stuving as a screen name, but I've become known as that anyway.
