    Default Glock manual safety

I ran across this while looking around on the Internet for Glock pictures. Wondering if anyone has one and if so what is your opinion. I was thinking of putting one on my G29 just not sure if I want to modify the frame of the gun.

If Glock would have wanted a manual safety on their pistol they would have designed it as such.

Glocks come with a safety, it's called finger off trigger.
Installing a manual safety is a solution for a non existent problem.

I think you should get and then test it. Once you realize it sucks we can all make fun of you.

Glocks have 3 safeties. They should all be trusted as much as an external one. A safety is a mechanical device that CAN fail. How many people have been shot with guns that had the safety "on", or "Unloaded" guns?

I'm not a Glock fanboy myself. But on modern guns, I don't believe in aftermarket gizmos that affect trigger geometry or safety behavior on guns manufactured by people other than the engineers that built it originally.

On something like a 1911, that people have been studying for a century, its different. Its well understood how they work in terms of engineering, but on the new stuff - I saw if the manufacturer does not back it don't buy it.
