I have a hard enough time field dressing an elk or deer and they're dead already (I go for as merciful ethical kills as I can get), but to do as much to a live human being?

as for elk, I definitely get the "feel bad syndrome". I feel bad for taking the life of such an animal but am grateful for the meat/sacrifice.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE to hunt. but when it comes to field dressing I am always remorseful/thankful to the animal for giving itself to further my life. Not sure if it is the Native American in me, the human in me, or just a natural brain function, but I am definitely thankful.

After watching the Daniel Pearl beheading video years back, I decided to not view videos like that anymore, including this one. Gives me nightmares are is very disturbing to me. Personally, I don't think anyone deserves to die that way, and one would have to give up a lot of their own humanity to execute another like that. That said, I'm all for quick justice and capital punishment, with an end to endless appeals for those convicted of capital crimes.

I have seen people do some amazing things for others and in general, the majority
of the population are good hearted people that give a damn about other people.
Its the few that create the biggest distortion for a person to view the world as shitty.

This reinforces something I have tried to teach my wife and kids, only to fall on hard of hearing ears. A little gets through but not all.

This would make a very compelling advertisement for closing our borders.
Given the actions of this cluster fluck administration (and previous ones)on immigration issues it is only a matter of time before this is an occurance in "Anytown, USA" .
