I hate the war on drugs, and I hate the savages down south that we have created. This is an enemy that we will probably be fighting in the near future, and they have more firepower than the terrorists we are fighting now... These guys were savages centuries before we became a country. This is not anything new, it is merely the latest thing there. For those who think that they are merely importing weed, and the cartels are a victim of the anti-pot establishment, I invite you to re-evaluate the items they import. Coke, meth, heroine, and a slew of other things are smuggled in by the cartels. While there is controversy over weed, I dont think many will argue the need to legalize coke and meth, and heroine. Some of the stuff imported isnt made in Mexico, but the cartels offer the smuggling routes into Estados Unidos for the Columbians, etc. Dont forget the human trafficking portion either. They are merely opportunists, who will move on to the next thing they can market at absurd prices.

Regardless of anyone's stance on what I said, I think it would be safe to say, some of this has infiltraded our country already, and the extreme violence is coming if things do not change. If there ever was a need for guns, this will be it.

IMO, it's just human nature to be brutal savages to each other. Men have been hacking, beating, and spearing each other to death since cavemen figured out how to crush each others skulls with rocks. Ancient history is full of slaughter, since the invention of metal and the discovery of making weapons with it. Then gunpowder came along to speed the process up.

But these cartel assholes will be a real threat to America, IMO. And we may have to fight them ourselves, our gooberment probably won't get involved until way too late. And they'll probably come after us as much as the BG's. Just remember that .30-06 M2 ball will shoot through large trees, and .30-06 AP will punch holes in 4" concrete walls! I love to shoot my M1, but I'm building an ammo stash for it as well.
