Sure it does. I have three Xbox 360's as front end devices and use Windows Media Center for ALL of our TV viewing. Primary PC is Windows 7 with TONS of storage space (many TB) to feed the extenders. We use tuner cards for live TV and DVRing and then torrents for downloading TV shows, movies and pay-per-view events and then we can watch them from any display in our house.
Nice setup ... big advantage of Roku is that its only $50 ... XB360s are a little more. Still need to get a decent Plex server running and then I'll be gold.
