He could have got them in the 80's and just left them in the case. They sent them in military crates here he just seemed to get them unopened. What is more insane is that he wants $500 per norinco.

Exactly. Unopened crate or not they're still just Norinco SKS rifles. Cool factor only adds so much to the value.

I think the $5K price tags comes from the novelty factor of the "unopened crate of SKS's" which I think is kind of cool. It's like the consecutive serial numbered guns that people pay a premium for. It seems stupiud to me but to each their own.
