Actually, he doesn't look that well off. He might have gambled it away. OTOH, it could be buried somewhere. 15 months, probably 8 with good behavior and 1.5 million tax free.
Of course, if this has occurred to me others might have come to the same conclusion and his life might be rather shortened.
