EVERY session has these same idiots trotting out their gun control bills, but which (if any) of those has even a snowball's chance of making it to a vote? Let alone to law?
I agree we must be vigilant, we must keep an eye on the animals in DC, but we also have to make sure we aren't constantly running around like Chicken Little here.
Yeah yeah yeah, I get it "teh Republcrats are just as bad as the Democons" ... I've been hearing that bushwah for years, but the fact is with the Republicans in charge of the house (and poised to take the senate) none of these bills will make it out of committee and if they did they'd die on the floor (if nothing else because of partisan rancor). Most of those are simply "referred to committee" without any co-sponsors (and a couple have just been "introduced" and not even yet "referred to committee"). So at this point they're just empty gestures by libtards to impress their libtard friends (and maybe get a check or two in the mail).

The oldest tactic in the book...throw enough crap against the wall and some of it might stick. I like my walls clean and shiny. For every one of these liberal sponsored bills, there needs to 2 pro gun bills (maybe 4). Time to beat them at their own game.
Thanks for the post. It's always a great reminder that we can't be complacent in expectation of quiet enjoyment of our 2nd Amendment rights.

*sniff* no offense but I smell a little bit of fail... not on the OP's part but on the Guns And Ammo writers part- all but one of those bills was introduced in early 2011 and have a less than 4% chance of making it. Now, as for that last one, the one referencing Trayvon Martin and the "Stand Your Ground" law- well I fear for my children's future... stupid fucking liberals.

+2. And maybe a law to prevent a reinstatement in any form without a 99% yea vote in both house and senate. Something like you say gun or firearm or any variation and want to restrict or regulate its use needs a 99% approval. That would be a new second amendment for the next 2 hundred years.

Not only a waste of time, but it would be the best economic stimulus ever. Look at the concealed carry movement and increase in gun sales in the last 5 years. When concealed carry started in Florida, the anti-gunners predicted the streets would be littered with bodies and shoot outs more prevalent than the old west. Instead crime rates have dropped.
Furthermore, people buying automatic guns are more likely to drive a rolls royce than a hyundai. Most people could not afford to feed a full auto in 30 caliber or above.
