Fire has gotten pretty bad. If anyone in that area needs help with animals, I can get my hands on a horse trailer, and I've got a vehicle to transport.

If anyone needs a place to take their horses to I have an empty 3 stall horse barn on a fenced 5 acres here in Franktown available.
I've given my name and number to the emergency line; I'll look you up if they give me a call.

Just to clarify: I've got 3 acres fenced, and while I don't have a trailer, I've got a 4x4 that can pull a 4 horse. I am ready to help with animals and guns.

Kudos, guys. It's this kind of character that makes this site what it is.![]()
Currently 2000 acres zero containment fire laying down but tomorrow morning when the winds shift will be critical.
Found this KKTV live feed:

The winds, at least where I live, will shift about 0200. Don't hesitate to contact me tomorrow if anyone needs help; if they can't contain it tonight it could be a beast tomorrow.

You guys be safe!
I am about 4 miles north of the mandatory evacuation area in the city. We are packed up and ready to leave, if necessary. This sure makes you prioritize what is important. I have all the guns i really care about, but little ammo. Don't like this at all.
If the fire doesn't hit us, I am going to sell some stuff after this is over.
I worry for those with large animals. That would be a bigger problem to deal with.
