UncleDave, ebay shows $75 on up. I don't know if that is realistic or not.

OK, onebadfx4, you shamed me into it. Cinderella is trying to download some pics and email to me now. May take a short while.

    Default shelter half pics

Three pictures I took a few minutes ago. You can see the manufacturer and 1942 date, the "US" in the second pic with the poles and third a larger pic.

I was gonna say, these were available in Massachusetts about 8 years ago for $30.

I have 3 OD shelter halves passed to me from my grandfather. My brother and I used to use 2 halves (1 tent) to sleep out behind the house in when we were kids.

I used to use these in my Boy Scout days in the late 50s and early 60s.

I have several of those too. I like to set them up camping so my dogs can have a place out of the sun

a complete tent (2 halves , poles , guy cables , repair kit , ect) 10-40 bucks depending on year and condition .ww2 tents are super common so around 25 bucks for a complete kit . most folks only want a half for table covers or a good tarp

Saw a guy at the Springs gun show today selling sets of 2 shelter halves with 6 pole sections (all genuine) for $15. But, the shelter halves were very faded but looked to be in good shape otherwise.
