Nah... I'd fund my two patent ideas, buy the AMS 12 (street legal car that can do the 1/4 mile in under 9 seconds...), and tell the wife to have fun investing the rest.

It runs the price of the car plus a $100k. To have the fastest road going machine.... I think it's worth it. You can find GT-R's for $60k. So, you can drop $160k on a GT-R with everything in it still working like it left the factory (one of the tuning companies big things) and blow the doors off any car you pulled up next to, including the Bugatti.... Ya, totally worth it.

I'd be pretty boring with it - invest it all in a well diversified portfolio of ETFs and pull $75k a year off it for the rest of my life. That'll buy a few toys.

Considering the condition of the market I'd stay FAR away from paper.

I'd probably convert half of it to gold, pay off the house and maybe buy an old Jeep and some mountain property.

Pay off the house and outstanding bills. Buy a new truck and take the family on a 2 or 3 week cruise. Save the rest.

    Default Gold

I'd buy all the gold I could. And maybe a gold producing property here in Colorado. House is paid for, I have nice trucks. I love the idea of being that financially secure, and spending my time acquiring more gold!
