How long does it usually take you to get there? Like an hour and a half from Denver?

    For me...

Off I225 and Alameda to that spot... I would say an hour and 45 minutes with traffic.... well, from my spot to Pawnee is an hour and 30 minutes or so, but it takes another 10 to 20 minute on gravel road to the actual spot.

It's weird though, coming home seems to be much quicker though

Great Guns (near Pawnee, but a private range) has a pretty nice 300yard range. Super nice folks running the place too.

yeah... but $20 for 2 hours, and then $5 per hour after that.... ouch...

I wonder if they'd let you shoot at steel targets at the 300 yard mark....?

Yeah, on a one-visit-at-a-time basis, it's a bit pricey. For us northern guys though, the $75 initiation fee & $15/month works out to be a decent deal if you head out there often enough.

Personally, I hate indoor ranges, and Pawnee seems to draw a lot of morons. I see the $20 entry fee as a filter to keep out the jackasses and idiots.

Pawnee does attract idiots but there are a million places you can go
