What gun should every gun enthusiast have to have?

Not many shotguns on the list, but hey ... This is an AR15 forum, right?

I'd nominate:

1. The Winchester Model 12 12-gauge my dad craved on Iwo, and

2. The Winchester Model 97, based on John Browning's 1893, that sold a million copies over 60 years (1897-1957).
