What gun should every gun enthusiast have to have?

Glock, 1911, M1, AR and a hi-point...jk on the hi-point. Im the first in my family to be into firearms and will pass all of them to my son, I hope he will appreciate and respect them. Especially the surplus guns and pass them down to his children.

Remington 870;
S&W full-size 357;
There are many, many more, but this would be a really good basic battery.
