I feel the same way... I only have the pathetic 45 which just make a big hole as it goes through you, not the killer 22 that bounces around in you and causes a lot of internal bleeding........

Paperwork and place to hold the event at. As long as you were not selling them during the "buy back" deal it's not considered a gun show. YET someone with an agenda would scream & cry trying to find a way to stop it.

I believe the LE's are not doing it legal like. Yes they say it's a BB program no questions asked. However acquire 1-200 guns and you know someone want's to know where they came from.

Sadly, this anti-gun mentality is somewhat prevalent amongst many in the Law Enforcement Community.

Soldiers in my unit have regurgitated that same BS about .22's bouncing around inside of you... they also say that it will penetrate sapi plates.... Can we incorporate a "Ballistics 101" class into basic training too, please?

I have also heard soldiers say that an M4 cannot engage somebody past 300m, and that there is no such thing as trigger reset, and that a .50 BMG round passing near your body will kill you, and that it always takes several COM hits with a 5.56 to stop somebody but even a peripheral hit with 7.62 NATO will stop them dead in their tracks...

Oh and in case you didn't know, all 7.62 rounds are the same, apparently. 7.62x39, 7.62x51, 7.62x54r, 30-06 etc... all the same...

    UGGGHHH!!!!!!
SOMEBODY PLEEEAAASSSEEE shoot me!! (But not with a 5.56, because that won't work. Nope, I want the uber deadly .22lr.)
You want to be a martyr, I want to make you one.

Believe in natural consequences, Darwin's ideas may be debated by scientist and Christian alike, but he had a good saying.......
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"

I'd bet those weapons are going right back out the back door eventually. Therefore not being taken "off the streets".

I need to buy a holster for my p22 now. It is apparently more effective than anything else I own.. All these years debating 9mm v. .45acp.. and we were all just wrong.
