i don't know anything about the guy and am not defending him, but i watched the press conference and although the rhetoric was suspicious, what he was trying to say is that they need to get guns out of the hands of teens and others who have them illegally because kids don't understand the damage they can cause. basically he was talking about high school and slightly older than high school kids that are gang banging. again, i don't even know the guy or care about him, but during the press conference it really didn't sound that bad, just poor choice of words.

Just remember, Denver's AWB came out of the "Summer of Violence" when that douchnozzle Webb was in office. Politicians never go on camera without an agenda.

Peter Boyles (630am khow) said this morning that there are tape recordings of the Mayor regarding some sex harassment case and the blowback from it should hit him hard. I am not holding my breath...

9 news just clarified what the mayor said. Clearing up the gun issue it was for parents if they know their juvenile aged kids have access to or in possession to get rid of it, by turning it in.

Whew! I was about to turn in my guns. I cannot trust myself cause I carry a gun legally and went through all the work just to do it cause I am a bad guy and plan on doing some criminal activity.
