You talked to an idiot the law does not care as to whether or not a gun is loaded. Open carry is legal it makes no difference whether or not the gun is loaded.

The only law in CO that has anything to do with a loaded gun vs. unloaded is rifles can not be in a vehicle with a round in the chamber.
