You talked to an idiot the law does not care as to whether or not a gun is loaded. Open carry is legal it makes no difference whether or not the gun is loaded.

The only law in CO that has anything to do with a loaded gun vs. unloaded is rifles can not be in a vehicle with a round in the chamber.
Hunter- The sheriff's office said that certain municiplaties and certain cities can regulate open carry laws. She said BOULDER is ONE city that has stricter open carry laws saying the gun cannot be loaded. The rest of the state, however, abides by normal open carry laws.
