I already did a Def Carbine 1 back in May and really liked it.
I'm planning to attend to level 1 and 2, they still have open spots avalable $150 per class.

Defensive Carbine I
Defensive carbine is a series of courses made up of four one day classes. Part one is an introduction to gun fighting techniques and covers operation and manipulation of a carbine. Defensive carbine focuses on fast and precise shooting within 50 yards.

Topics to be covered
Stance, grip, recoil control, sight operation, rifle setup, malfunctions, reloads, target acquisition, shot placement, target transitions, search & asses, carry positions, gear selection, alternate shooting positions, intro to shooting from cover and much much more.

Required Items
Open mind and willingness to learn
Serviceable Carbine (sub-guns welcome)
4 serviceable magazines for carbine
250 rounds of ammunition per day
Working sling on carbine
Vest or belt capable of holding 3 magazines
Ear & Eye protection
Suitable clothing for outdoors shooting
(NO SHORTS , SANDALS, TANK TOPS or V-NECKS )
(Prepare for minor weather)
Water (there is no running water at the range)
Sack lunch (there is no time to leave the range for lunch)
Spare Batteries for optics
Tools for optics

Recommended items
Hat
Kneepads
Shooting gloves
Shooting mat or pad
Sun block / Sun screen
Camp / folding chair
Cleaning Kit
Sun Shade etc.

We will be meeting in Bennett @ "THE FARM" range
Class starts at 0900 range will open at 0800.
