Hey all haven't posted much since the forums went down a few months ago but I do lurk a lot. I'm a marine scout sniper and should be getting out in a few months (they are letting us terminate our contracts early in order to downsize quicker) after 8 years of service. It could be as soon as October and as late as April 13'. Anyhow, I'm gonna be moving back to the Castle Rock area at that time and I'd love to stay in my field of expertise and I'm trying to put my feelers out to see if such a job exists, I messaged back and forth with a few members already regarding this but it seems as though the instructor jobs are only a part-time gig and that's not going to be enough to sustain my wife and I while she finishes her masters at DU.

I was wondering if there is a market for full-time long range precision fires instructors in Colorado? I know Ft Carson is down there as well as a few other military bases. Do they send their snipers out for civilian shooting packages? I've been through a few schools in my time so long range isn't my only skillset (I do CQB, tac pistol and carbine, SERE, DMOC, etc) but it's what I think is most marketable. Anyways, if anyone has any info or anyone I can talk to let me know! Thank you all and have a great 4th of July!
