Default Now that's fast! Jerry Mickulek

Who needs a full Auto when you got this guy? http://www.metacafe.com/watch/21940/..._shooter_ever/

Jerry Miculek. One amazing shooter. His S&W 8 shot revolvers have a short stroke for locking up the cylinder and the revolver's strong trigger rebound spring allows for faster resets for the next shot which makes him faster than an autoloader that has to cycle for each shot.

Anybody see that guy I don't remember his name on the shootist? He is a trick shooter and he can shoot a 1911 so fast it sounds like a FA even faster than Jerry. He also can quick draw and fire two shots at balloons 20 ft. apart. He is so fast that you only here one shot yet both balloons break. He does the balloon trick with a revolver and they show it in slow motion he fans it. Unlike the quick draw competitions he reholsters the gun. He is so fast you never see the gun leave or return to the holster it simply looks like he just flinches.

Either way remind me to never challenge either one of them to a gun fight. I couldn't even get my hand on the grip and it would be over.

Nope. He is just that good and has been shooting a revo forever.

I shot a big Regional Match with Jerry a few years back. His 625 was stock 'cept for the Randy Lee trigger job. One of the nicest guys you will meet.

You respond like I credit the gun and not the shooter. That's not what I did at all. I watched a program on the History channel about exhibition shooters that had the folks at S&W telling you exactly what I wrote, they designed the 627 with Jerry in mind. Jerry is an amazing shooter that is sponsored by a company that builds guns that can be exploited by his level of skill. It should be no surprise that the likes of Rob Leatham are also using the 627 in competition. The first three places in the overall 2006 IRC were using the 627. Coincidence? I don't think so.

But thanks for the 'tude. [beer]

Bob Munden is another amazing shooter. I've seen him do the 1911 'bump firing' gig using his left trigger finger. Have you seen him bust balloons with a 10mph cross wind at 200yds with a S&W .38 snubby? It seems like an eternity between the shot and the impact.
