    This is exactly the kind of thing I have been talking about in other threads. That the "fire danger" would be used to try and ban shooting. Yah it hasn't happened yet but just watch and see how long it takes for the liberals to run with it.

    Already has. Up near Tarryall, we were shooting .22's weekend before last. A Park County Sheriff rolled up and told us because of the danger level set shooting was banned. As we were cool about it, he issued a written warning in lew of a $1000.oo citation. He mentioned that a fed park ranger citation would have been for $5000..

    It pays to do your research before you go out. I have no problem complying. I do not wish to see anymore forest being burned, I happen to enjoy the forest. There are other projectile shooters you can use during fire season.

    How would you like to be the person that causes the next huge forest fire?

    It's a temporary ban. Once it gets a little more moist, you'll be back to shooting.
