    Default El Paso County rocks!

Had my appointment May 19. Checked the mail Sunday after about a week of leaving it and guess what showed up. I figure almost exactly one month to get it all out of the way. Sure beats the three months they said it would take.

Just under 7 weeks. Nice. That's about how long it took for me.

Really? There are some guys on the forum claiming it took 60-90 just to get the appointment? Is this true?

I am wondering because i am sending my sister down there and wondering how long it is taking?

    Appointment - 0 to ???? days
After appointment to CHP in hand- 0-??? How many days?

It did take about a month or so to get into the office. They were running up to three months but have started doing Saturday appointments to help speed things along. I would get an appointment before you take a class if that still needs to be done. You for sure aren't going to get right in.

Excellent! When I got mine through EPSO in 07, they told me 2-3 weeks, and it took 16-18 days. Still a good turnaround though.

Hey so i am a little perplexed here; a neighbor of my bro-in-law says he has been waiting over 60days just to get the appointment???

    What gives?

XJ- Yeah, when I did my renewal in April it took about two weeks.

10mm- I'm sure the demand has gone up in the last five years. And once he gets his app in, they should be pretty quick about it.

Mine in Douglas Co took 17 days . 15 minute wait , then filled out paper work , paid the fees , printed and to the photo. Total of 45 minutes !
