    I would spend some time somewhere not at the range and go over some basic firearm handling stuff before I hit the range if I were you. Just my opinion. Maybe get her/him familiar with the function of the firearm(s) you are going to be shooting and then take the next step to the range once alittle more comfortable with the operation/handling.

    I took a gun virgin to the range, Silver Bullet. Weekday, late 6pm. Nobody else there, we had a good, relaxed time to shoot. I did nothing but assist and make sure all was safe.
