Looks like I had just a little too light a spring in there. Never noticed the hit. Looks like it had done it before. I had it out a couple of weeks ago and had not noticed it when I cleaned it the time before.

I did notice that the spring seemed a little weaker because it FTF a couple of times from the locked backed position. Oh well, a little clean up and a new spring and rod....
