Default PRI free float carbon fiber target forearm

Anybody happen to know if the lightweight "target" version is pre-drilled to accept rails or a swivel-stud?

It doesn't look like it from the picture...

I don't really need / want to add anything right now, but it might be nice to keep my options open.

maybe its just the morphine, but im pretty sure there are holes all across the top, and four near the front towards the bottom in that pic

That's not where that stuff attaches.

Doesn't look like it from that photo, though it might be better to call PRI and see what the deal is.. they may have two versions.

The rifle-length version with the steel nut and all the rails is 19.04oz.

The rifle-length with the aluminum nut & no rails is 11.20oz.

The Clark version is just a CF tube. Weighs 6oz and costs less than half of the PRI.

If I can't easily add a rail or stud to the PRI, I might as well go with the lighter Clark.

My thinking was to drop some weight and streamline a little.

    I've got a carbine-length FIRSH handguard that weighs ~10.5oz.

I assumed it was more than that. Probably not worth screwing-around with it to save ~4oz.

I'm going to have the barrel turned-down under the handguard first and see how it balances.
