Feel bad for this young generation. They have no guitar/music gods to look up to. Us old guys had living, breathing deities to see/listen to: Paige, Richards, Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, Townsend, SRV, May, Gilmour, Knopfler, etc. Not much out there making it big these days. Plenty of local stuff but the days of the Monsters is gone. Can't even think of a modern band that could sell out Folsom or Invesco. U2 is about it...and they have been around for 30 years.

The Black Keys can kick it.

Ben Harper. His live version of Faded morphing in to zep's Whole Lot of Love is a must have for your collection.

I really love what is considered "classic" however there are a few bands out there worth listening to. Expand and open your mind, even if it only goes to 11

Awesome clip, though I didn't recognize most of them after 85.

This reminded me of a little rockumentary I think I saw on Netflix: It Might Get Loud. Very cool and entertaining. Just Jack White, the Edge (U2), and Jimmy Page sitting around jamming and chatting about their experiences.

Favorite part of IMGL was the roadies pushing the large anvil case to the stage and one make the comment "This is the Edge's brain.".
