This is also the proper place for this thread.

It looks like Pike and San Isabel National Forests Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands has gone back to Stage 1 fire restrictions as of July 12th.

Bruno Gulch looks to be closed to shooting. Does this mean the South Site is open! If so, be cool. No exploding anything. Bring lots of water, shovels and such.

According to exhibit L under order UFC-01-12, it looks like the south site is OPEN! I compared the map to some other maps I have and I was looking at the wrong place It's dated 17 July.

Here is what i posted, after this one was started. Bottom of story, for the mentioned areas still in effect.
I doubt we will see public shooting until there has been a solid week of rain.
2 weeks left this month then aug which is not known for a lot of moisture.

Not sure why you posted that Jim, it's out of date and it's not from an official source.

Out of date story, mentions fire ban until X day. Read the story and see the info at bottom. I believe quoting usually is from an official source
Question asked about about fire ban, there are shooters in NOCO who would like to know when they can shoot on public land. Not limited to you el paso guys
