on ar15.com it's an automatic ban.

"I'll take it" means something (or used to) on gun boards

I didn't even want to respond, the guy initially had zero posts, but I did
we went back and forth and then he said "I'll take it"

WHY? Newbie or not you commit to buying from me and change your mind, short of death in family, I will MINUS 1 you big time.

One thing i am seeing in FS ad. There is no mention of LOCAL Sale Only, I'm not driving anywhere. I see FTF listing an area to meet, however noting for wanting to keep local.

I wanted to buy a few items and BUYER says sorry i'm not driving anywhere, EVEN though there was nothing in ad stating so.

I gave LRSS -1, he gave me an "ill take it", was supposed to get in touch the following day to pick up, never heard from him again. Never even responded to my pm's after the incident. Can't stand that sh!t.

Dude, the guy is a deusche or however you spell it, we know that now, we get it, but this is going a little over the top guy. So much so, it might be making you look a little bad.

Yes it's bad business. But it's bad form to run out post profane feedback on the guy and then make another thread pointing to that thread.

It's simple enough to make a review thread with ONLY the posters Screenname, put a -1 and your .02cents in. The profanity is not needed, calling someone out in the thread title is bad form, and then demanding attention by creating another thread only to reference the first thread is a tad overboard. Esp if you're not out any money on the deal.

IMHO a complaint loses a tremendous amount of credibility when one resorts to name calling etc. It doesn't change the circumstances but it really doesn't do a lot to project you above the member in question.

Think we all understand where he's coming from, if someone says ill take it and then doesnt, makes us no better than the douches on armslist. But it needs to be handled in feedback thread.
