    I like spongejosh and hbar's setups. I made a bunch of PVC target stands kinda like Gnihcraes, but not as pretty. Also made a stand to hold a plate, and one to hold a spinner. I've started using tubular webbing instead of chain to suspend the plate, and it's lasting longer. Finally, I welded a piece of angle iron onto the back of a 6" piece of steel, and I slide a kern-mantle rope through it, and can suspend it between two trees. They're some of the uglier setups here, but they work for me.






    Preemptive dsclaimers: I know my welds are ugly! And no, all the holes in the stands are not from me; they're the price I pay for letting newbies shoot my targets, and it's worth it!

    2 pieces rebar, 2 lengths electrical conduit, big cardboard zip-strapped around conduit. Pound rebar into the ground and slide conduit over.--

    I like how simple a lot of these are for steel. Which is good I hate packing the stuff into my car sometimes.
