Same here Spyder! Didnt know the other thread blew up like that. Just finished reading it and was appalled at the "reps" responses.
Another manufacturer bites the dust in my book.. Oly Arms will feel the sales hit when this starts to spread.

I really hope you guys are realizing that our board has about 5k registered users, let's say 1500 of those users are more or less active here (actually post from time to time), let's say 750 of those 1500 users will read the thread, and finally let's say just 200 out of those 750 say "fuck Olympic Arms, I'm not spending my money there any more".... Can you really afford this just because of one guy's stupidity?!
P. S. Oh, and thanks to Internet, things like this are spreading REALLY FREAKIN FAST.

Had the rep used the word 'tomfoolery' I'd buy oly.. but.. he didn't.
Apparently, some people keep digging regardless how deep the hole is.
He should have pumped the brakes on his responses, he however, could not break his head free from his ass.
the simple fact is, forums can really help buyers make decisions. that, and objective reviews on youtube from folks like hickok45, gunblastdotcom, and yes, from time to time, nutnfancy. i hardly buy anything these days without looking for a blurb about it on the forum.
that being said--the idiot from Olympic sure solidified that I'll never buy one of their products--ever. why waste your time with that level of idiocy when there are actual competent folks out there to do business with. this clown can't even read.
Maybe all of the spammers on this site could do something productive and send crap to this guys email account
im very surprised by his response, maybe because spyder is one of my "main squeezes" i understood what he said but it seemed like the rep jumped off the deep end very quickly

You're looking at it all wrong. Tom has passion, clearly if they put that much in to explaining there finishes, they must make a superior product. First thing tomorrow, I'm going to Gunsmoke and ordering two of their fine weapons.
