In an odd way, the lack of tactical competence shown by law enforcement here makes me feel better ... eventually these guys are going to be turned on the citizenry and I'm glad they aren't super effective and well trained.

That'll probably end when many of these specops guys we have coming back from war will take positions in law enforcement and unless they're oathkeepers we're really going to be under the boot.

If you take away Columbine (I don't believe they even had one) and the North Hollywood Shootout, what justification does a LE agency really need to explain the ownership and deployment of APCs? I never got that one... Even the world's wildest police videos never really show gunmen opening fire enough at SWAT to really need a tracked armored vehicle...
