Wow, unbelieveable! I wonder who's going to get all the money from the auctions? Besides the auctioneers and a host of other people that don't deserve a dime of it.
this is why, we have a trust. all of my wishes for my collections are pre planned.
if he had a decent insurance policy, he could have specified his trust to build a building to properly house his collection, hire a staff, and charge a small admission.
or he could have had his trust distribute the collection to other museums. police, automotive, harley museum, etc.
its sad to see his collection torn apart, but its his doing.
