    Default Denver police reapply for their jobs?

    If this is old news sorry. I heard that Denver's chief is making higher ranking police reapply. Heard it was maybe detectives and above. Is this a way to change things up ? Or is it a way to adjust the pay? Still crappy if it's true.

    Uhm, this black police chief was a disaster in his last district, and may be trying to push affirmative action.

    I don't understand the reapplication and what he hopes to accomplish.

    Most public officials are unmitigated disasters, doesn't matter what their skin color is, incompetence runs much deeper.
