In other words, even if the USA doesn't sign the Treaty, Beretta for example won't be able to sell guns in the USA because we won't provide them end user records. We sign = international gun registry. We don't sign, other nations will = no more foreign made arms. We are screwed either way.

Say goodbye to some if not all of the models made by Beretta, Benelli, Glock, Sig, HK, Savage, Sako, Taurus, etc, etc, etc.
Bet you see these companies move to the US or open separate US divisions ... most of those companies can't live off of government contracts alone, they need the huge firearms market here in the US. Most of those countries already have some limited production going on in the US.

At any rate, I don't think the Senate is ever going to see the treaty ... I think Barry is going to try to pull a fast one by not sending it to the Senate since according to the Vienna Convention the instant it's signed it is in force (with the force of a constitutional amendment) UNTIL it's rejected by the Senate or renounced by the President. So if the Senate never hears it and the president never renounces it he just got the UN to repeal our Second Amendment.

So again, for the umpteenth time ... if Obama is re-elected, America is over. Period.

Also the only long term solution is the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US. Frankly once the UN is gone the building in NYC should be leveled, the ground left bare and salted so that nothing ever grows or is built there again.
