Yes, he is. Since his grandson was killed in a freak accident on the place, he hasn't been the same. Sad situation.

We once stopped to ask him where a Christmas tree cutting area was, and he told us to just take one off of his place. I left a generous donation, more than a tree would have cost, but I appreciated his gesture.
