    Howdy and welcome aboard
Looks good, pay attention to your details on assembly and you should have a great rifle.

Thanks everyone, and Already I'm making changes due to stocking issues...

I realized my barrel pricing wasnt for an upper group, it was simply the barrel I had wanted to go with, so after evaluating the situation and seeing what my options were, I've decided to eliminate the MI rail system and go with either a Yankee Hill or a Troy system, for the sole purpose of.

To use the barrel I want and all the other parts I need, I was over $700, while to get the assembled upper group with a different rail on it would actually cost me less and then I dont have to worry about assembly when it comes to the barrel onto the upper receiver, cause I really just hate that part.

So here are my options Im considering, and I do want to stay with an FDE rail finish, yet again I can simply send it off to a friend and have it Seracoated...very similar to Duracoat, but I like it more.

BCM Standard 16" Mid Length Upper Receiver Group w/ YHM 12" Handguard

    or

BCM Standard 16" Mid Length Upper Receiver Group w/ Troy BRAVO 11"

Same barrel as I wanted, just not the light weight version, and with either Troy or YHM.

Im a huge Troy fan and I could never afford there stuff, but Bravo Company USA does a great job on getting awesome deals on them.

However, I dont believe the Troy is in stock...like a lot of the Upper Receiver groups aren't....this damn administration we have is killing it for us..

Thanks again everyone, I cant wait to start posting some pics of this thing.

Its going to be a unique piece I hope and I'm hoping Ill enjoy it....I sure as hell hope I will at least considering its going to be around the $1600 range..

    Welcome aboard.

Lots of knowledgeable people here if you need help.

If you want to pick some of your parts up locally, go see Mike and Rob at Bower's Tactical in Centennial. They have a good selection on hand and can get you just about anything you need.

Post up some pictures when you get it done.

    Thanks much man!

I'm actually in Monument, just north of Colorado Springs, South of Castle Rock.

And the nearest retail location for me that would have some of these high speed goodies is actually Bravo Arms, Brian and Justin have been good to friends of mine who have built custom rigs like this, so I'm hoping if I need to get anything done locally, or if I need any work done that for some reason I either dont have the right tools or whatever the case may be, that they can help me out with the Assembly.

I'm going to probably drop by there place next saturday if any Springs guys would care to meet up and shoot the shit either before or after. Always nice to meet the locals who are into this kind of stuff, set up a shoot day and BBQ or something.

Either way, my best assets right now are going to be my friends Rich, Rand and his brother Rhett....funny, the three R's...never thought of that.

But Rich assembled and built his LWRC 6.8mm Rig, which I absolutely adore, and Rand and his brother have done so many builds its tough to recall.

So, hopefully with the assets I have on my side with this build the only obstacle is going to be the funding...

I've come out to around $1600...not including any shipping charges that may apply or whatever, but Bravo Company USA seems to have REALLY REALLY reasonable shipping rates.

Unlike a few website Ive had the displeasure of ordering from...if anyone here has an Audi, ECS tuning is great for parts, but my goodness....more often than not your shipping cost is higher than your parts cost...which to me is dishonest business...just list the real price and dont bullshit me on shipping...typical eBay sort behavior there..

Regardless, I'm hoping to have the funds to start buying goodies for this project by mid next week.

I think I'll start with all the Magpul accessories, that way in case for some reason an emergency comes up and I cant bu the rest of my parts, its not difficult to resell those...everyone wants the High speed Magpul toys right? :P

Well, seriously, want to thank you all for the warm welcome!

I'll get some shots as soon as I can.

    Thanks everyone!!

Please feel free to post some advice, suggestions, feedback on anything you see in the build that you think may be a concern.

I had a friend tell me to avoid RRA LPK's because his last 2 kits had the wrong happens and roll pins in them...

Anything like that which can save me the hassle down the road and before I order, I'd really appreciate!
