If you feel that tingle in the back of your brain, or that gut feeling, usually it's best to trust it as that's saying "stop and think a second." Good choice, I am very weary as I've been scammed before (luckily it only cost my a couple thousand).

Guys, if it's personal car sale/bill of sale - do your transaction outside AIRCARE CO location - and have them run vin verification. $20 and you are good to go.

    * ESPECIALLY on an out of State vehicle w/ an out of state title.

There's a whole lot wrong with this scenario.

If you do decide to proceed, get the VIN and (even though their information is often incomplete/inaccurate) run a CarFax report against it.
[ETA: Just read the previous post - AIRCARE is probably better]
A whole lot of cars make it up to CO from the South that were totalled due to flooding, etc. and they're cleaned up and sold off as just a "used" car. Besides, it's very easy to forge a title these days and until you actually try to register it, you won't know - by then it's too late at the seller is long gone with your money.

Make sure the title is not a SALVAGE title. ALSO since this was never registered it could very well be a rebuilt car from Katrina or other flood area.

It's a 1984 DeLorean complete with Flux Capacitor and a Doc Brown Doll!

Lower than normal miles for the year. Cheaper because there is a little body damage and its a base model (manual windows, locks etc).
