    The Obama Timeline
Posted on July 14, 2012 by TexasFred

American gun owners need to see this post, they need to read it and absorb it, and then share it with everyone that is Pro Second Amendment and anti-United Nations.
Our GOD GIVEN RIGHTS are in more danger from the REGIME of Barack Hussein Obama than they have ever been at any point in the history of this nation.
Here is a LONG but comprehensive look at everything Obama has done to infringe on our RIGHTS! And remember, if we allow them to take our guns, this nation is not longer a FREE nation, but one that has been thrust into the abyss of totalitarianism!

There is not anything an Executive Order cannot render Illegal with the stroke of a pen.

While the info is nice to see. The blind have been led around oblivious to what is happening, as long as there are reasonable gun laws the middle of the road "sportsmen" will fiddle while rome burns

    "...shall not be infringed"

What I'm about to say isn't news to any of us, but it bears stating...
The anti-gun crowd realizes that that can't accomplish their goals overnight, but they live & execute a policy of "death by a thousand cuts". They have been able to successfully erode and "infringe" upon our rights repeatedly by the use of the phrase "sensible gun laws".

"Sensible gun laws" have done nothing to curb the criminal use of firearms in our society; they've only made it harder for honest, law-abiding folks like you and me to lawfully obtain firearms. In fact, I hold that the increase of firearms in the hands of lawful citizens has helped to draw down the numbers of violent crime -particularly SUCCESSFUL criminal acts.

Every time an anti-gunner talks about their sensible gun laws", they follow it up with comments like "It'll create a safer environment for your family. You can't be against that now, can you?". In a perfect world, maybe their arguments would hold water, but we all know we don't live in a perfect world. These people haven't seen firsthand that when you're being victimized, the police can't reach you in time to protect you. In fact, the U.S. Supreme Court stated Law Enforcement agencies have no obligation to protect individual citizens, just society at large. (See Castle Rock v. Gonzales, a case from our own community for this precedent setting decision).

Every time a Pro 2A person or organization accepts a "sensible" compromise to gun rights, we lose ground on this most important essential liberty. WE LOSE GROUND! I've never seen the anti's lose ground, only fail to advance their agenda as far as they hoped.

All of you are correct in many of the posts I've read around the site through the years. With so many leeches sucking off of the tit of the American taxpayer, making positive change to maintain or even to dream of recovering some of our infringed upon rights, will be an uphill battle.

We have a choice. We can continue to let the anti's advance their mission to "infringe" upon our Right's to the point that it is non-existent, or we, as lawful gun owners, can use their tactics to re-establish our Right's. With an estimated 35 - 50% of adults owning at least 1 firearm, we should be able to reach out to an ever increasing number of them to help in this fight.

Unfortunately there are lots of gun owners who fall for this shit because they now have 1 maybe 2 kids and their family or worse yet the spouse leans on them to...................
"Do some, thing about those guns, you do have a family to think about"
Personally (IMHO) people like that NEVER had any business owning a gun in the first place.
As i have written before the number of gun owners in CO who voted for the BG check at gun shows was an embarrassment.
Some of them no doubt post here and other gun boards.
This country lacks backbone and a few well placed ads have them change their mind quicker than a hooker changing condoms on payday.

To quote the wise and ever gun friendly Nuge:
"All these gun control laws are bs, have they really done anything to restrict or limit the third amendment? No, and they shouldn't have even touched the first or second either. As it was written, by our founding fathers, if we had kept it like that today I could walk the street with a fully automatic, soviet AK-47 on my back, and I'd feel pretty damn safe!"
"There is no news in the truth, and no truth in the news."
"The revolution will not be televised... Instead it will be filmed from multiple angles via cell phone cameras, promptly uploaded to YouTube, Tweeted about, and then shared on Facebook, pending a Wi-Fi connection."
