    Default Barber Recommendation - Aurora

You don't hear guys talk about where to get their hair cut too often, especially not from strangers, but I found an excellent barber in Aurora about a month ago that I want to give a huge recommendation to. It seems like it's a dying profession and men's haircuts for men are going the way of the dodo (so if I want to keep getting haircuts from this guy it would do me well to make sure he gets plenty of business and doesn't move away).

If you want a really sharp haircut, trust me, this guy is WAAAAY better than any Great Clips or Fantastic Sams you might go to. And he only charges $13. If you live or work in Aurora near 225 and Parker road, go there. You won't regret it. It's at the north end of the parking lot of the King Soopers there.

Total hole in the wall. Russian Mom and Pop shop. I've gotten two haircuts from the son Alex in the past month, and they're literally the best haircuts I've ever gotten in my life. He spends about 15 minutes working on the fade and cleaning up edges, practically with a magnifying glass. A real perfectionist, and one hell of a bargain.

Ask for Alex (can't vouch for mom and dad). He works Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

I started shaving my head because of the lack of quality haircuts to be had. There's one decent place in town, Rooster's, but that's at least $20 and I'm not going to pay it.

I'd kill for a decently priced barber.

Little shop in Aurora (Parker and Quincy) right next to the 24 hour fitness; does a great high and tight for $11.00. Shaves the neck and vacuums the little hair that always falls in your shirt for you too.

$11!!! Geez, I'm getting ripped off! My guy is about 100 feet from my work though, so I can swing the $13.

If you're talking about the Russke place, yes, it says on his card that he does all that stuff. But I haven't had it done.

Went to go to Al's, in Boulder, for about seven years. The barber I liked there went to the Denver shop. Full service shop but not cheap. Worth the price because I never walked out with a bad haircut.

The Sunnyside recently opened in Ned. Jimmy (pronounced Himmy) does an excellent job. Does a real straight razor shave too.

I'd buy a Flobee and a bowl before going to Great Clips, Cost Cutters, etc.

I use to goto Regatta Barbers since 1993 till about 1999.
I chose that place because it was cheapest at that time ($6).
Also, my church member use to own an electronic repair shop right next to the Barber Shop.

+1 for Regatta Barbers (Can't speak for it now, but I can for 1993-1999).

Also, there is a barber shop called

    Hoffman Heights Barber Shop
    720 Peoria Street
    Aurora, CO 80011-8231

SimonAminovIs (or was) a owner. He use to work at Regatta, but opened his own shop around 1998ish?
So, I went to Hoffman Heights to get my hair done around 1999-2001 until I moved to Los Angeles for a new career.
