...This bastard doesnt deserve his Ranger tab...
Although I hate to bash someone's service to this country . I'm going to have to agree with NightCat . Actions In or out of service reflect on a man and his accomplishments . His actions , I believe should wipe his Ranger tabs for sure . Hate to see this kind of stuff .
What your average joe might not recognize and perhaps only a fellow Ranger will understand, is that he has violated the Ranger Creed, and if he's an NCO then he has also violated the NCO's creed, as well as the Soldiers creed which is absolutely unacceptable.
Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some.
Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.
- SH 21-76 (Ranger Creed)
No one is more professional than I. I am a Noncommissioned Officer; a leader of people. I am proud of the Noncommissioned Officer corps and will, at all times, conduct myself so as to bring credit upon it.
I will give all officers my maximum support to ensure mission accomplishments. I will earn their respect, obey their orders, and establish a high degree of integrity with them. I will exercise initiative in the absence of orders and will make decisive and accurate decisions. I will never compromise my integrity, nor my moral courage.
