A father also confirmed his 6 yr old daughter was killed. I know there were comments about why the f kids are up so late...not going there as I feel the same way, but hoping this father can get through the tough hours, days, weeks, months and years ahead

This is NOT the way I wanted to start my morning. WTF! Why can't these dumb asses just start with shooting themselves instead of all these innocents? This makes me sad and prayers to all the victims and I hope he get his just desserts. I would say I hope he get s help for being a mental case but it's too late for that. Someone had to see this dude was off the wall.

Didn't his mom say the police "got the right guy" as in, she knew he'd lost it? Clearly she, and likely many others knew that he was off the wall, or getting close.... same thing with the Loughner fellow in AZ. We really need to get better mental health services in this country, for our ailing servicemen, as well as the distressed citizen. The stigma around ptsd, depression, anxiety, etc needs to change immediately.... if it doesn't these tragedies will continue and it leads to stricter gun control.
