Hey, let's not lose our head about this..... Like so many do in old Mexico.

Maybe, if Mexico focused on their own problems they wouldn't have people fleeing their country to the U.S. like a bunch of 14 year old girls trying to get into a Justin Bieber concert. And maybe, just maybe, if they allowed their citizens to be armed for self-defense they wouldn't have such a mortality rate from cartel violence. Oh, and then too, if they watched their borders to control drugs & drug products from entering & leaving, the cartels would be put out of business.

So, my words to Mexico are simply: Mind to your own affairs before you start sticking your nose into the affairs of other countries. Until then, STFU you ignorant, 3rd world country!

Going back to the concealed carry thing...

How many of the mass shooting incidents have not occurred in a gun-free zone. All the shootings I can remember have been where guns are prohibited. Would the shooter have targeted the theater if it allowed CCW and it was known that people actually carried there? I'm thinking he would have picked an easier target crowd. I doubt it would have completely stopped him.

I also wonder if he would have done this out of his parents basement in California if the our state had a reputation for self defense.

John Lott showed statistically how the possible presence of a gun can deter crime. That argues for more guns, not less. Or more transparency in gun presence.

I didn't originate this Idea but I thought it was worth bringing up, maybe again.

Agreed. "La Raza" Is a movement to take over our country. Illegals are fleeing their own country, because it is so messed up. And if they take over ours, wouldn't it be logical to assume that they would turn it into the same mess they came from? CCW is allowed there...... Signs with "no guns allowed" has no legality to it for a CCW/CHP holder and a CCW can be worn.... Open carry however can not be done were signs are posted.... I do agree though that this is "possibly" why he (and other freaks) might target gun free zones. They sure wouldn't target a group of gun owners, who would fire back!
