They call that an "Ad Hominem" attack. Like when the liberals say "I seen a person with a Palin bumper sticker on their car and I think they should be drug out of their car and beat to death". And I say "What the f is wrong with you? What would make you say something like that?" They pull that Ad Hominem card like Obama pulls the race card in defense of their horrible statement. Yeah, like there is something seriously f'd up in my head to ask that. Compared with them saying someone should be beat for having a bumper sticker.
But you are right. Their is no reason to avoid the obvious that a person saying this tragedy is racist or anything else crazy. One should make sure the person saying such things is not totally crazy for agreeing with them even if its to humor them.
Who are you to want to escape a thugs bullet? That is only a personal prejudice, ( Atlas Shrugged)

^^ yeah thats what I was thinking too
Friends, this site is DEFINITELY under the scrutiny of multiple news sources from around the globe. I've seen new accounts today from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and USA Today and I've just gotten started looking at them.
If news sources are checking us out, you know the government is as well.
We need to be especially mindful of what we say and how we portray ourselves and firearms in general.
I know that every member here is a good decent person and we come from all walks of life, but there will certainly be those who will attempt to portray a passion for firearms as something sick and twisted due to the actions of an evil and sick individual. Let's ensure the world see's the best that we can be and maybe they might realize that it's the individual, not the tool, that must be vilified here.
