Assuming it is true, even the media is done with OWS. They were all over the air last fall. We heard about them once or twice this past winter, when cops were clearing them out. Even though they are still doing their thing, we hear nothing of it anymore. The media is finally as bored of it all as their viewers were ages ago.
Personally, I believe him being a member of any organization totally irrelevant. Short of the organization supporting and condoning his actions, his actions are a reflection only of himself. His motivation, regardless of the background, are his own twisted views of reality.
OWS, CU, Tea Party, NRA... just doesn't matter. It's not a reflection on the organization unless the organization supported the act, period.

As far as the OWS connection, all I have seen points back to the same Florida "private investigator" and his claims. Not a lot of facts and quite a few folks renouncing this. The PI has changed his site to say that Holmes 'fits the profile' of an OWS member.
