    Default Went shooting today

I was at one of my favorite spots, and it is beyond comprehension how people can be so disrespectful, lazy, stupid, trashy, immoral, pigheaded... to bring computers, appliances, car parts, furniture, tv's, ect. shoot them up and leave them in our beautiful forests.

On top of that they drink beer and toss their cartons, cans and bottles along with their ammo boxes on the ground. There was apparently a group up there recently who shot about three hundred rounds of trap and just left all their shotgun shells sitting in piles.

If I catch anyone doing this I will turn them in, and gladly testify in a court of law against them, as they are not fellow shooters of mine. As a matter of fact they are our worst enemies, more so than the tree huggers and anti's. I don't blame the Forest Service for wanting to shut down shooting in the national forests.

I will be going up again in the next couple of weeks or so with my trailer to do my annual cleanup, if any of you would like to join me for some plinking, barbecuing and cleanup feel free to contact me. Rant off!

P.S. For those of you that do not own a S&W 617 you need to save your pennies and get one, it is probably the finest handgun made, and I own a boatload of handguns.

Yeah, people are shitty. What spot were you at? I've seen 5-gallon buckets of paint, computer monitors, a washing machine, and an old tanning bed up at Kelsey Creek. I have to admit the paint was fun to shoot, as the spilled puddles were still wet underneath and it made big splashes, but it can't be good for the environment at all.

Can't think what I'm doing next weekend, but depending on the spot I might be down to help.

We always end up with a couple of bags of trash when we leave Kelsey Creek. Only takes us about 30 min to quick clean the area. There are just some things that we don't have room to haul, but we do our best.

It's a crying shame and I make it a point to remind the people I see to pick up their trash.

My sister hauled 2 large pick-up loads of garbage, and I, 3 small pick-up loads of garbage off the BLM area where I shoot. Some of it is VERY old (steel beer cans, etc.) but some of it new.

I figure I'll have it all out in another ten years if people quit hauling it in again. I have to pay to have it dumped, too. It might take less time if I shot more.
