Amazing how our betters make millions of dollars, control our lives, and have respect in this warped society...when they are so flippin wrong about most things.

Douches in Hollywood, DC, and the Press have no concept of the 2nd Amend and the rules/regulations they have caused to prevent the RTKABA. A simple 30 minutes of reading would set most of them right. How difficult is it to learn what an assault rifle really is, laws regarding ownership of NFA items, and buying firearms/accessories?

None of the channels/papers/pundits can get it right. Even FOX screwed it up. Still surprised how many are saying that the AR15 was banned in 1994. Never happened. Plenty of ARs were made during that ten years- just without those dangerous bayonet lugs, deadly flash hiders, and pesky 30 rd mags.

The good news is that when they try to enact more gun laws they will more than likely screw something up and leave loopholes. Like how you can still get new ar15s in cali and high cap mags.

Anyone hear Bill O'Reilly on Fox tonight? He sounded like a real moron, arguing with a conservative congressman (name escapes me) that:

- Holmes purchased 60,000 rounds (I heard 6,000 from several sources)
- Using a vague term "heavy duty weapons", saying that all sales of "heavy duty weapons" should be reported to the FBI
- At first, it sounded like Heavy duty weapons included bazookas and machine guns, but later on seemed to include any semi-automatic firearm
- The congressman pointed out that the BATF is notified of firearm purchases, but O'Reilly seemed to disagree with that, including the tax stamp required to purchase machine guns
- O'Reilly seemed incoherent and confused at times, very much on his soapbox that he had the solution to prevent mass murders. Was somewhat embarrassing to watch -while I don't think O'Reilly is conservative on many issues, I tend to agree with most of his positions. But not this one...

I have always liked his stuff. but he def has points over the years where you scratch your head and have to change the channel. I havent watched him in a few years..
