I am glad you are ok now... but your message is very confusing.. are we proposing to ban cars or bikes?
Happy bday!
^^ both!!!! only guns from here on out! no cars or bikes!
Hot damn! Glad you're still here, and your wife is crazy awesome and brave.
Congrats on 2 years and counting of the rest of your life!

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

I was put down at highway speed, and it was NOWHERE near as bad as your experience. Something ethereal about skidding down the pavement and watching the shower of sparks in front of you, that is your bike, sliding down the highway, beating you to the ditch.
Only took two blocks on the replacement bike to know I was back in the saddle, but swinging that leg over the seat that first time, I definitely wasn't sure .
Godspeed on your continuing journey, and may God continue to bless your family.
Ride on, brother! Just keep a keen eye out for the a-holes. There are definitely a SHIT-TON of them out there.

BTW...I still commute the I-70 corridor daily, Aurora to Golden, and can thankfully report that I have only had two serious near-misses this year.

Reread those last two posts of mine.
My situation turned out WAY more favorable than yours, and I was not trying to steal your juice, by any means. Just wanted to add my experience, to show my support to you, and your experience. I have a feeling you will ride again, based on your comments. That is awesome, considering what you have been through. Props to your wife and extended family, also, given their continued support of your desire to ride again.
I would have a beer with you anytime.
